China is a civilization with over 5,000 years of history. Throughout the ages, we’ve witnessed the rise and fall of a few global powers—the Roman Empire, the Mongol Empire, the British Empire—each once dominant, yet all eventually faded. But China has endured, standing firm in the East. To us, today’s United States is just another chapter in history—nothing extraordinary.

If the U.S. wants to cooperate, we welcome friendship. But if it chooses to act like a bully, we will find a way to survive and move forward without it. No doubt about it!
