Korea Is Known for Its Excellent Hairdressing Skills

Over the past few years, more and more Chinese people have been traveling to South Korea just to get their hair done. And it’s certainly not cheap! I’ve heard that a haircut, perm, and hair treatment at a salon in Cheongdam-dong can easily cost over 1 million won for or a three- to four-hour session!

But hair salons will never make a single penny off me! I always cut my own hair at home.

I bought two pairs of scissors at Daiso—one for cutting and one for thinning—for just 4,000 won in total. I’ve been using them for years! And the more I practice, the better I get!

최근 몇 년 사이 한국까지 와서 머리를 하는 중국인들이 꽤 많아졌다. 가격도 만만치 않다. 듣자 하니 청담동에서 커트에 펌, 클리닉까지 받으면 4시간에 보통 100만 원이 넘는다고 한다.

하지만 미용실이 나한테서 돈 벌 일은 절대 없다. ㅋㅋㅋ 머리는 늘 집에서 직접 자르니까!

다이소에서 가위 두 개를 총 4,000원에 샀는데, 커트 가위 하나에 숱가위 하나다. 벌써 몇 년째 잘 쓰고 있다. 게다가 자르면 자를수록 실력도 늘어서 이제는 제법 솜씨가 좋아졌다. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Of course, not every haircut at a Korean salon turns out well!

물론 한국 미용실에서도 실패한 사례가 있긴 하다. ㅋㅋㅋ
