Valais Blacknose Sheep

The Valais blacknose sheep originate in the Valais region of Switzerland. They are a dual-purpose breed, raised for both meat and wool. They have lived under the radar since the 13th century, enjoying a common mountainous life on small farms dotted through Switzerland and parts of Germany. It wasn’t recently that the breed began to spread throughout the world. With how cute they are, it’s not hard to see why! The blacknose sheep are best known for having their insanely soft fleece and having very sweet and cuddly personalities, which would make them adorable pets!
