The most noticeable characteristic of a Munchkin cat is his short legs, which were formed due to a spontaneous, natural genetic mutation. It was only accepted as a breed by The International Cat Association (TICA) in 2003. Although the physical adorableness of the Munchkin is undeniable, the personality of this cat breed is especially endearing. A Munchkin is typically a true extrovert, who loves interacting with people and other small animals. They’re curious and intelligent cats who enjoy puzzle toys and learning tricks.
