Letzte Rose in unser’m Garten (1970)

“The Last Rose of Summer” is a poem written in 1805 by the Irish poet Thomas Moore. This song was created by setting his lyrics to the melody of a traditional folk tune. Later, it even became one of the most beloved folk songs in Europe.

There are so many different versions out there, but the one I love most is the German version from a 1970s German film. The 15-year-old boy’s voice is incredibly clear—fresh and bright in a way that really stands out.

“여름의 마지막 장미”는 아일랜드의 시인 토마스 무어가 1805년에 지은 시입니다. 전래 민요의 가락에 이 시를 가사로 붙인 것이 이 노래입니다. 이후 유럽에서 가장 애호되는 민요되기도 했습니다.

다양한 버전이 있지만 저는 이 70년대의 독일 영화에 나온 독일어 버전이 제일 좋습니다. 15살 소년의 목소리가 너무나 청량합니다! 😄😘🥰
