Biden Makes Error of Asking Deceased Congresswoman

US President Joe Biden has made the error of asking if a deceased congresswoman was present while speaking at a White House food insecurity conference. Representative Jackie Walorski was killed in a traffic collision last month. “Senator Braun, Senator Booker, Representative Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie?” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre says the mistake was made as Ms. Walorski’s legacy on fighting food insecurity was at the top of the president’s mind. President Biden has invited Ms. Walorski’s family to meet him at the White House on Friday.
