Athletes Forced to Sleep on Cruise Ship at Nagoya Asian Games

During the Nagoya Asian Games, the organizers are housing athletes on a cruise ship and in converted shipping containers. Seriously, this is hard to believe! Is Japan really that broke? I bet they’ll call it ‘sustainability.’

나고야 아시안게임에서 주최 측은 선수들을 크루즈선과 개조한 컨테이너에 숙박시키고 있습니다. 아니, 정말 믿기 힘들 정도네요! 일본은 진짜 돈이 없나 봐요… 아마 “지속가능성을 위한 선택입니다”라고 하겠죠. 😅

At the hockey game between South Korea and Bangladesh, the organizers mistakenly played the North Korean national anthem instead of South Korea’s. The Korean Peninsula is literally right next door. How do you even mix them up??? For a second, I thought, “Did someone do that on purpose?” Hmm… let’s just say someone needs to brush up on his geography.

한국과 방글라데시의 하키 경기에서 주최 측이 실수로 애국가 대신 북한 국가를 틀었습니다. 바로 옆 나라인데 이것도 헷갈릴 수가 있나요??? 순간 “일부러 그런 거 아니야?”라는 생각도 들었는데… 그냥 지리 공부가 조금 부족했던 걸로… 😅
