Get Smart (2008)

One of my favorite scenes from the movie Get Smart. Maxwell Smart asks a fat girl to dance. The mean girls presumably expect a routine making fun of how clumsy a fat girl dancing is. The twist is that she dances wonderfully. I guess one does not have to be thin or small to be light on his/her feet.
영화 ‘겟 스마트’에서 내가 가장 좋아하는 장면! 스마트가 뚱뚱한 여자에게 춤을 요청했을 때, 못된 여자들은 뚱뚱한 여자의 춤이 얼마나 웃길지 예상하면서 놀리려고 기대했다. 하지만 뚱뚱한 여자는 그 기대를 배반하며 아주 멋지게 춤을 추면서, 굳이 날씬하거나 키가 작지 않아도 춤을 잘 출 수 있다는 걸 증명했다.

Maxwell Smart:
It will be fun. Trust me.
재미있을 거예요. 저를 믿어주세요.
Fat Lady:
You are so light on your feet.
발놀림이 참 가볍네요.
Maxwell Smart:
I recently lost 150 pounds.
최근에 70키로 뺐어요.
Fat Lady:
So did I.
저도요.
Maxwell Smart:
Isn’t great? I have so much more energy now.
정말 좋죠? 살을 빼고 나선 활력이 넘쳐요.
Fat Lady:
Me too.
저도요.
Maxwell Smart:
Thanks for jumping.
