Cho Seung-Yeon Uncovers the Story Behind French Perfume

Today, I finally had the chance to meet one of my favorite Korean writers, Cho Seung-yeon at our workshop. I was lucky to be seated right in the front row, which gave me a perfect close-up view of his talk.

Cho shared insights from his long-term research into French history, culture, art, and architecture, interwoven with stories from his own life. He also offered comparisons between French and Korean ways of thinking and living, highlighting the deeper cultural contrasts that shape each society.
