Chang’e 6 Lunar Probe Returns to Earth

China’s Chang’e-6 lunar probe returned to Earth on June 25th, successfully completing its historic mission to collect the first-ever samples from the far side of the moon. China is scheduled to launch its Chang’e-7 to the lunar south pole region in 2026, while Chang’e-8 will be launched in 2028 to carry out tests aimed at utilization of lunar resources in preparation for the lunar research station.

중국의 창어-6 달 탐사선이 6월 25일 지구로 돌아와 달의 뒷면에서 최초로 샘플을 수집하는 역사적인 임무를 성공적으로 마쳤습니다. 중국은 2026년에 달 남극 지역으로 창어-7를 발사할 예정이며, 2028년에는 달 연구 기지를 준비하기 위해 달 자원 활용을 위한 실험을 수행할 창어-8을 발사할 예정입니다.
