Battle For Sevastopol (2015)

The Russia-Ukraine co-production film is based on a story of Lyudmila Pavlichenko, the most successful female sniper in recorded history. During her 9-month military service in WWII, she killed 309 enemy soldiers, including 36 snipers. In 1942, she visited the United States and became the first Soviet citizen to be welcomed by a U.S. President in the White House.

Most of the”heroes” never wanted the spotlight themselves, and they didn’t do what they did for fame.
